Born and raised in Blacktown Western Sydney I’ve grown up in a working class family who helped me to build good values….. As a Blacktown boy I was always around sport and all forms of physicality…. although
as a ginger headed kid with ADHD I stood out like sore thumb at times so school wasn’t always easy…. it DID however open the door to combat sports/self defense where not only did I learn my own strengths and build my own power…. But I also grew to realize how much I loved coaching as I became a young man, I even managed to coach an entire fleet of little champion fighters and had no idea how much fulfillment it would give me.
Getting into this industry was a decision that took me years to make as I knew how difficult it was to survive let alone thrive in it…. In spite of working various jobs after high school I think I always knew deep down that this career was the ONLY option for me…. The thirst to learn more about evolving the body never died and the itch to coach still never goes away for me… The outcome was always inevitable…..
Now I can honestly say that I’m a Coach… and I love my job.

My fitness journey started around 12 years ago when I first joined a local gym back home in Cali, Colombia. Then, I began to workout in order to improve my physique and simply get stronger. This generic approach led me to believe that fitness was solely about the physical component, ‘the harder I work the more results I was going to get’. NOT TRUE!

This mindless strategy caused injuries, feelings of low confidence, self defeating thoughts, me to look for outside validation, self sabotage and so on. I was creating this character which was so far from who I was at my core.

Fast forward to now, I learned that we don’t go to the gym just to move weights, we go to the gym to mindfully contract our muscles against a resistance. We want to know what’s the most efficient and effective way to create powerful contractions in our unique body. We want to create a beautiful relationship with our body so that we get the most of our every single workout.

Until we understand the above we will keep doing unconscious generic workouts. Making the decision to train with purpose is not easy otherwise everybody would do it. It takes conscious awareness and a higher will to be ready to learn more about yourself and how to move with purpose.

I am passionate about exploring my body and discovering where I am not free so I can perform better in my workouts. Mobility and stability are my top 2 pillars to build strength. The only way to get better is by creating a plan, following the plan and constantly assessing where you are. If you bypass mobility and stability, it’s very likely you will encounter a variety of injuries in your fitness journey.

Today my 3 favourite training techniques are strength training, kettlebell training and KO8 training system. Each one is very unique and combining them can be very beneficial towards building a strong foundation.

I am a big believer that if the mind is not working right the body won’t work right. This is why I practice breathwork and meditation in my daily routine. For me creating alignment between my body, heart and mind is vital to function at my best every single day! and I encourage people to explore these practices.

Working together I will encourage you to find your real why, to create healthy habits/rituals that align with the person you want to become, to be grateful and to be aware of feelings or emotions that are not serving you anymore. Your body is a powerful machine, learn how to use it for your greatest good! I’m happy to help you find the best version of yourself.

After a significant life altering motor vehicle accident, I had to literally rebuild myself from scratch. It’s through this process that I was able to learn the skills and develop the discipline required to make big and long lasting changes to both my body and mind.

The impact my own journey and transformation had on me, lead me to becoming a Personal Trainer. Now, I am dedicated to helping others achieve their health and fitness goals no matter what their biggest obstacle may be.

I will find balance in your diet and training and over the weeks we will work towards fine tuning it. As much as I’d love to train my clients forever I’d prefer to teach you everything I know.

When our time is up i’ll know that you’re confident to go out and keep on track by yourself, remembering that I’m only one message away for help
