I have worked in the industry for over 12 years and still have a passion to help people achieve goals that they never thought were possible through a combination of different training styles. I believe that mixing your training up with different forms of exercise such as strength, cardio, boxing & cross training not only keep your journey new & challenging, but help the body achieve great results. I have a long history and a special love for running. I have been a runner most of my life being able to tick off a few Half and Full Marathons along the way. Helping people to both improve running technique and achieve goals is something I am very passionate about. Fitness & Health for me has always been about “everything in moderation” and making it a lifestyle.

I believe that being fit & healthy (in whatever form you may choose that to be) is not only good for the body, but also the mind. Exercise should be fun, enjoyable…& challenging, but just tough enough for you to be able to achieve your desired results. G’day members of the EMF family, I’m Ryan. I’ve been working within the health & fitness industry for the last 10 years.

Initially my purpose for diving into this field was just for self-education. Although it took me no time to realise how much I enjoyed helping others lead a greater quality of life.

Over the years I’ve worked with men & women of all ages, of all different backgrounds & all different stories to tell. From children & teenagers with special needs, teenage athletes, women pre & post natal, adult athletes, people with eating disorders, people overweight, people clinically diagnosed with mental illness. To sum it up, I’m passionate & confident about helping every life I can for the better.

WHY exercise? It’s simple, really. When you exercise, your body releases chemicals called endorphins. These endorphins interact with the receptors in your brain that reduce your perception of pain. Endorphins also trigger a positive feeling in the body. I understand the gym may not be for everyone.

I’m well aware it can be quite a daunting place for first timers or those returning from a few years away from the gym scene. One thing I do know is that with willingness to learn, a little patience & a positive frame of mind you’re already halfway there to achieving a healthier, happier you. Growing up as a kid I have always been active through firstly playing rugby league and swimming for my conditioning. As a young kid this is where I learnt discipline and what it takes to achieve goals. Not only through sport, but also my personal life goals.

Recently training has become my passion over the past 7 years. The gym for me is my escape, where I can tune out for an hour and just focus on lifting the weight. For me the gym hasn’t only developed myself physically, but it has given myself the mental self -discipline. ‘Self-Discipline’, the number one trait that is essential to accomplish goals.
