Lauren has been in the fitness industry for 8 years and has developed a multi-disciplinary approach to her practice. Having dealt with many health issues of her own, she found she was her happiest when exercising and developing skills she never knew she could possess!
Her confidence was synonymous with her capabilities. She found the more she prioritised exercise, the more the health struggles of her life improved in contrast.
But she also knows the other side of fitness – where, if taken to the extreme, can also impact negatively on well-being.
Combining her experience, education and personal values, her PT practices are centred on helping you increase your own knowledge and understanding of proper technique, and how to find consistency within your unique circumstances.
Lauren believes aesthetics are the natural consequence of performance. When we first focus on being able to do more over time, the body will adapt and reflect that training level.
She believes a client-trainer relationship is built on mutual trust and respect, and that her success is tied to that of her client’s future independence.
